Year 1 Curation Project
For my curation I decided to use artifacts that I was able to find in and around my placement classroom or things that could be easily found in any classroom. You can get a really good idea about a class and it's teacher by taking a look at the posters and bulletin boards throughout the room.
I have found that some of the most important resources for students are the ones that are posted on the wall. Especially in elementary school, it is very important for students to have engaging and motivational posters throughout the classroom to look at during the day. The posters and bulletin boards can also act as aides or tools for students to use as a reference during their work.
I broke my curation of artifacts into three categories, Growth Mindset, Social Justice & Inclusion, and Assessment. All three of these categories touch on the four levels of reflection in the classroom in different ways.
